Heather a new catalyst for business             17th November, 2006

Bridging finance specialist Catalyst has unveiled a new Business Development Manager at the ‘Mortgage Business Expo’ at Earls Court.

Heather Clawson has been recruited to expand the successful Business Development team at Catalyst, joining Brian Baker, Dawn Smith and Paul Williams.

Heather, 30, from Mobberley, Cheshire, said: “Bridging finance has such a variety of uses. Many people are unaware of how it can help them to achieve their aims.
I was one of those people and that means I’m very excited about telling others about its benefits.”

“The team at Catalyst are so welcoming that I already feel I have been here for years. I have already been out to speak to a few brokers and the Expo was an excellent chance for me to meet members of the industry.”

Heather started her career in TV production before discovering a passion for sales. Rod Black, Catalyst’s Head of Business Development, head hunted her after she visited their offices in Ralli Court, Manchester, in her previous role.

She has extensive experience in sales and marketing and was working for a major North West champagne and wine merchant, arranging corporate events and selling corporate gift packages to major companies.

Heather visited Catalyst before Christmas last year and impressed Rod Black so much that when the company decided to recruit a new BDM, he gave Heather a call.

He said: “I was very impressed by Heather’s manner. She is very personable and responsive to the requirements of the customer. We are a very flexible company because we know that the needs of our clients are individual.

“I am sure that Heather’s combination of sales experience and enthusiasm for our product will prove a great asset to Catalyst and most importantly, our clients.”

Heather joined the rest of the team from Catalyst on their stand at the major industry Expo at Earls Court on Wednesday and Thursday last week (November 15-16).
